Tim is a typical sixteen year old boy. Average grades, enjoys lacrosse, even gets into constant arguments with his high school rival. But his life after school gets a lot more complicated when he finds out he can transform into an ancient cheetah woman known as Mafdet. He's not the only one, too—she's just one of many ancient beasts cropping up recently with magical abilities no human could do.
Joined by the griffin Anzu and the fox Tamamo, they find themselves fighting those who would misuse that magic—and hunting down a deadly serial killer who's been running rampant in their city.
